I teach information architecture and user experience design at Kent State University.
My research interests include information architecture and how people interact with information--mostly in relation to digital libraries.
I was an information architect before I became a professor. For a while, I worked at the pioneering information architecture firm Argus Associates.
I'm a founding member of the Information Architecture Institute.
